Millions of Miniverse toy sets manufactured by MGA Entertainment have been recalled by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission due to safety concerns. The ‘Make it Mini’ sets contain resins that can cause skin burns, eye and respiratory irritation when touched, inhaled or ingested. The resins include chemical compounds called ‘acrylates’ in amounts prohibited in children’s products. MGA Entertainment has received 26 incident reports, including skin burns, irritation, and respiratory issues. The recall includes sets sold in the US and Canada and can be returned for a refund or replacement.
